Award-winning food and portrait photographer Lisa Barber has over 18 years’ experience in the business and was recently a category winner in the 2015 Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year.
Previous work includes seven years photographing chef Skye Gyngell and her food at Petersham Nurseries for the Independent on Sunday Review food section as well as providing the images for numerous cookbooks including Gordon Ramsey's Healthy, the two-Michelin star chef David Everitt-Mathias' cookbooks Divine Chocolate, Essence, Dessert & Beyond Essence —for which she won three Gourmand Awards—and Brighton-based restaurant Terre a Terre's cookbook.
Lisa grew up on a farm in Australia where she developed a passion for all aspects of food from production through to consumption and has an allotment in South London, close to her Brixton-based studio, where she successfully and unsuccessfully experiments growing fruit and vegetables.
